The Ed Keating Center is one of three Cleveland non-profit organizations to each receive a $5,000 donation from the Cleveland-based Reminger law firm in response to the current opioid crisis. The other groups to receive donations are The Lantern for Recovery and The KISS Foundation.
Steve Walters, president and managing partner of the 130-attorney Reminger firm, said these three organizations were chosen because they are doing important work with lean staff and tight budgets. “They provide an invaluable service to the community and are operated by incredible people who are on the front lines, each with their own unique approaches to providing that care,” he said of the three groups. “We wanted to help and give back to our community as this problem continues to grow.”
